VIZIO E500i-A1 50-inch 1080P 120Hz LED Smart HDTV

I was deciding between this Vizio at 50" and a 46" Samsung for around the same price, but did not have the SmartTV features. After seeing a friends Vizio E601, I decided to go with Vizio. I am very pleased with my decision. The picture is amazing, and for $649, a 50" TV with built in WiFi and apps is a great deal. This TV is located in my bedroom, which is at the opposite end of the house from my wireless router. Please note, I am still using a WRT54g. Despite the distance, the TV still has decent signal strength and can stream in HD without a hiccup. The TV start up takes a little longer than expected, and the apps are not incredibly fast either, but these are such minor complaints that are made up for in the fantastic picture quality at a bargain price. For those of you that have seen the E601 in person, this TV's picture looks entirely different. Despite it being 120hz, the E500 does not have the same "soap opera effect" (SOE) as the E601. This was a major plus for me, as I dislike the unnatural motion/jumpiness displayed by the E601.
