The picture is very clear and colorful especially in hi-def. To say the sound is loud is an UNDERSTATEMENT this TV's sound is LOUD, the volume goes up to 100 and at 10 you can hear it downstairs. One drawback is having to assemble the stand it's a little tricky at first you have to be careful not to get it wrong or the TV will be wobbly - but once it is assembled it's very sturdy.
