This TV does its job. I am not going to get into my settings and too much detail but I will give a little bit of background as to why I bought this TV instead of another. I upgraded from a Sony Bravia 32" KDL325000 which succumbed to power surge. I wanted to buy the Sony 40" KDL-40R450A, but this Samsung just seemed better. The Sony 40" LED is similar to this Samsung model in almost everyway. The only thing that separated the two was the Samsung was cheaper and the base was taller. The Sony 40" LED I was viewing was very squat and did not have a neck like this model. Since my TV is sitting on an entertainment center, I did not want something that was low and squat. Overall: You can't go wrong with a Samsung. This TV is definitely 100x better than my old LCD. There is not a thing I do not like about this TV. I play my PS3 on it and watch HD TV. This TV does what you want it to do. 5/5 stars.
